Phuket Has Been Good To Us Foundation is a Thai registered charity which aims to
improve the lives of disadvantaged children of Phuket. We teach English to over 600
underprivileged children in two schools. We aim to provide the best possible English
language education by placing qualified native English-speaking teachers in their
classrooms. We help Thai youth become capable and confident English speakers so that
they can secure well paid employment in Phuket, remaining close to their families (or
support networks).

We also run an extracurricular program ‘Coconut Club’ for 142 children who are orphans
or whose families are not able to look after them. These students live 7 days a week at
school. During the week between 3.30pm and 4.30pm the children can come to the club
to work on arts and crafts or simply play. At the weekends we run a golf foundation, swim
and sports clubs.
